Our Strategic Location
The firm enjoys the privilege of being at the heart of the country’s major International hub where business negotiations, transactions and investments take place. In case of conflicts, Arusha hosts the Mediation and Arbitration Centre for East Africa under the precincts of the East African community (EAC) which is trusted for its neutrality and affordability in provision of mediation and arbitration services. Should mediation and arbitration fail, and when a client instructs us, we approach the East African Court of Justice (EACJ). For those interested in human rights, Arusha is a seat of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR). The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) which performs the remaining functions of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) also seat in Arusha. The firm takes advantage of the presence of these international organizations in Arusha to facilitate mediation, arbitration and litigation services for our clients at affordable rates. Our international clients enjoy the relatively lower Attorney-Fees for mediation, arbitration and litigation for cases undertaken in the EACJ, AfCHPR, and IRMCT compared to flying in Advocates from outside Arusha.
